 A great opportunity has come our way for couples with children and those who support them. CHEO, Christian Home Educators of Ohio is putting on their annual conference at the John S. Knight Center in Akron on June 24-26. The conference will center on home education but will not be limited to it as it will also focus on general parenting issues. The keynote speakers are Voddie Baucham and Todd Wilson, but will also include a host of other speakers on a wide variety of subjects concerning parenting and Christian education. The conference will only cost $75.00 per family for the Friday and Saturday combo, and $65.00 for one day (Thursday is included in both packages). "Family" includes both parents, teens, and grandparents as well. A great deal for a whole family. No child care is provided, but children are permitted to attend providing that they are kept in order. Please check out the Resource Center for conference flyer.

                                                 To the northwest, right by the light standard, we have a nesting pair of tree swallows in the

birchbox. Please feel free to have your children

 observe the most acrobatic and people friendly birds. Maintain a distance of 10-12 feet to prevent the swallows from being disturbed and abandoning the nest.

VBS time is upon us and the theme this year is Son Quest an adventure through the rainforest seeking JESUS!  VBS will be held each Wedensday Evening in July from 6:30-8:30 PM.
 
I will be holding a short informational meeting directly after service on Sunday June 6th for all those who would like to be a part of this years VBS.

Dear Pastor,

Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,

 “By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.” Hebrews 11:30

Blessings – We are blessed by the Lord to be here and spread the good news in different villages where the gypsies live; in the last two months our joy was great to see people being saved by trusting in the Lord and then being baptized.  Praise the Lord for  6 people saved and baptized in Ciumeghiu and 5 people saved and baptized in Batar.  In Tinca 25 people were baptized on Easter Day!  Few days ago we had an open door to preach the gospel in a small village and several people came to the Lord and a family was baptized!

Opportunities – going from village to village the Lord opened doors for us to preach the message of salvation to many people; In Osand and Husasau de Tinca, in Somcheres Arad  we met outdoor and proclaimed the gospel!  We have been called and begged  to come in Balnaca in the mountains to preach the gospel; and we went there few times; the distance is more than 300 km and takes about 4 hours of driving; we met there about 300 people in spiritual darkness waiting for someone to bring them the Light of Christ! Several people came in tears and felt on their knees accepting the Lord in their hearts! They were begging us to not abandon them and help them…We are praying and looking to the Lord to help us and provide the needed gas for the car on our many long drives there and in other villages.  Please pray for them and for us!  

Prayers  - We thank our Heavenly Father for each one of you and for your love and sacrifices that help us to carry on this ministry to the needy and forgotten gypsies in Romania.  The economic crisis is deep here and most of the gypsies live from day to day…many are going hungry and their kids are begging on the streets for a piece of bread…And we can do so little for them…Please, remember them in your prayers and remember us also. We need wisdom to know the next step and the next village where to go. 

Joyful event  - As a family we were waiting for our daughter Asheritah to graduate from Cedarville University   in Ohio on May 1^st.2010. Praise the Lord for His provision for her. Now we are preparing for her wedding on July 3^rd here in Oradea – Romania. We are glad to see the hand of the Lord at work in her life and in our family! We’ll like to invite you all to the wedding…but it’s a long way from USA to Oradea – Romania…Thank you for your love , prayers and support!
