WHO WE ARE:

Abundant Grace Ministries exists to ignite and cultivate a passion for the supremacy of God in all things for the joy of all peoples, cultures and nations through Jesus Christ.

The purpose of Abundant Grace Ministries is to minister to those desiring an alternative church lifestyle emphasizing Body life and ministry. We envision the application of “equipping and releasing” others for the work of ministry to bless and enrich other local churches and the community at large. We also desire to bless and enrich the independent and denominational local church by any means possible.

MEMBERSHIP COVENANT:

As we trust God’s love and sovereignty in bring us to His great grace to embrace the Lord Jesus Christ, and by the conviction and watchfulness of the Holy Spirit, we covenant with each other, that God enabling us:                              

?         We will love each other well, as Biblically instructed & empowered;

?         We will exercise and exhibit honor for all people;

?         We will walk in care, compassion & watchfulness over each other;

?         We will demonstrate a loving honesty to each in caring for souls;

?         We will faithfully warn and admonish as needed, guarding the flock;

?         We will enter into each other’s joys and sadness with tenderness;

?         We will bear each other’s burdens with a loving strength;

?         We will assemble together regularly for edification and comfort;

?         We will walk in sanctifying grace – growing in His process;

?         We will endeavor to win souls with the grace of Jesus Christ;

?         We will equip and release others to realize their destiny in Christ.

AGM CORE VALUES:

• We desire to be Christ Exalting – magnifying the supremacy of Christ in both heart and mind.

- Our Spiritual Atmosphere: We desire to foster ignited hearts through worship and enlightened minds through Bible Study. 

  Ignited hearts: The shorter catechism of the Westminster 

  Confession  states - “The chief end of man is to love God and

  to enjoy Him forever.” Therefore, we desire worship which:

  1) Treasures His Presence; 2) Humbles the heart; 3) Expects

      something from God; and, 4) Extends His love.

                    Enlightened minds: we believe that right thinking fosters right

               living, we want to emphasize individual and corporate Bible

               study and prayer. We desire teachable hearts that are

               captivated by the things of God.

         - Our Theme Verse: Acts 4:33 “And with great power the

                apostles were giving witness to the resurrection of the Lord

                Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all.”

         - Christ’s Impact: Luke 4:18

        "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,

        Because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor.

        He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives,

        And recovery of sight to the blind,

        To set free those who are downtrodden (bruised),

              - The Heart Cry: “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me & drink.”

  - Our Call: To model, demonstrate & minister the life of His

                      Body.

• We desire to combine the truth of deeper life and the filling of the Holy Spirit to lovingly equip and release people to fruitfulness and thus actively engage in the work Christ left us to do.

-  Encourage: people to experience and live a spirit-filled life

    through worship, teaching and body ministry.

-  Empower: men and women, young and old, to reach their

    God-given destiny.

-  Enter: into the fullness of God’s provision through spiritual

    gifts, healing and the ongoing work of deliverance.

         The vision of the Abundant Grace Ministries, a network of

         Christian Churches, is to provide the NE Ohio communities with a

         church experience of nurture, growth, counsel, discipleship,

         relationship and the vitality of Body life through a small church

         network.  We envision the application of “equipping and releasing”

         others for the work of ministry to bless and enrich other local

         churches and the community at large.

Purpose Statement

The purpose for the Abundant Grace Ministries is to minister to those desiring an alternative church lifestyle emphasizing Body life and ministry. This would be accomplished by developing a network of home and/or small churches under the direction of church planters and leadership. We also desire to bless and enrich the independent and denominational local church by any means possible.

Philosophy Of Ministry

1. We seek to do all for God’s glory, upholding the supremacy, sufficiency, and satisfaction of Jesus Christ our Lord.
2. We are Bible saturated in every facet of ministry.
3. We proclaim the truth of man’s depravity, not for condemnation, but for the opportunity of transformation and healing.
4. We lean entirely on the grace of God through our Lord Jesus Christ, as He is our all-sufficient Savior to touch us at our deepest needs.
5. We accentuate the necessity of faith in all things, empowering us to love God and man, receive His promises, and experience victory over the world, the flesh, and the Devil.
6. We stress the infilling of and reliance upon the Holy Spirit in all matters of spiritual growth through the equipping of truth and releasing to fruitfulness.
7. We admonish all believers to lay hold of their God-given role of priests, ministering first to God, then to men, albeit, the priesthood of believers.
8. We hold to the revelation of God’s ownership over all things, His sovereignty in every circumstance, and the riches of His grace lavished upon us, thereby vitalizing the ministry of stewardship; of possessions, circumstances, and grace itself.
9. We seek to worship God in Spirit and Truth in our singing praises, preaching and teaching the Word, sharing of testimonies, giving our resources, serving one another in love, baptism, communion and literally everything we do out of a joyful obedience heart to our King.
10. We endeavor for our fellowship to be deeply relational and radically centered on Christ, thus avoiding the stratification of age, ethnicity, gender, social class, hobbies, etc.
11. We desire to impact our world by extending the kingdom of God in making disciples and doing good works towards our fellow man (i.e. being the hands and feet of Christ), for His glory and their salvation.
12. We strive to enhance trans-cultural and trans-ethnic outreach and relationships.
